The sun is brilliant today. As I stood outside enjoying the light (if not the heat), my hope was reawakened. There must be a Spring waiting right around the corner! I spent some time watching bands of little birds darting about and I was curious. Were these just stragglers from the massive hoards of birds who migrated a month ago, poor little souls who didn’t make it to the South? Or were they advance scouts, looking for a new place to nest? And either way, will they actually meet up with the families who left them behind?
And one other quick question (I am at work, so nothing lengthy): Why does 72 feel quite warm in the summer and on the edge of cool in the winter? Our thermostat is reading 72 degrees and I’m comfortable, but not likely to break out in shorts. In the summer, that’s what we keep it at and it’s a tad warm some days…weird.
